Make Money on eBay With Powerful Titles

Auction titles are one of the most important, yet most frequently overlooked aspects to creating a successful eBay selling experience. In fact, many sellers simply fail to recognize the results that a powerful title can provide all the time. Yet considering this is the first thing people see before even viewing your item, it can not be neglected. In fact, every seller should consider the title to be one of the most important pieces of the puzzle to make money on eBay. In this article I will provide 4 tips to help your make money on eBay with powerful titles. Use them to get you started on the road to eBay selling success.

Remember that titles sway your prospective buyer. We know if you're reading this you want to make money on eBay. Even if you already are, you probably want more and it all begins with your only chance to sway the consumer. Think of it as a first impression and within 55 characters you must grab the attention of prospective buyers and motivate them to take action and read further.

Always use simple, easily understood words in your title. If you want to get the most out of each auction, then you'll want to make it as easy to read as possible. For instance, there will be many occasions where you are selling something similar to a competitor. How are you going to grab their attention in one title? Well, it's definitely not by confusing people. If you want to make money on eBay you are going to have to think like the buyer who is looking for your item.

Something that says, "PSP Games" will not get as much attention as "New PSP Games w/Madden 09 and More." Why? First off, the 1st example doesn't tell you if they're new, used, or trying to sell you some online software. The second one not only let's you know the items are new, but also a popular one that is included. So even though people will see the PSP Games title, the second one will get more viewers and bidders.

Get the most out of 55 characters. Don't forget you only have fifty-five characters to make this happen. The example above we used 34 characters and while it is just an example, you should really take advantage of the extra 21 we missed out on. Add something else that will entice your prospects. Something like "-Ship4Free." This could take up more of your characters and it's not confusing.

The example we gave above that has the Madden 09' in it isn't perfect. For instance, if we were doing our own, there wouldn't be any useless words like "and More." Instead we would implement + signs or something of that nature. Then maybe add another element to entice people to click our advertisement. There are several ways to take this, but just make sure you use as many characters as possible.
